William Gilham died in France aged 24 years. In 1911 he was a 17-year-old errand boy living with his parents Charles and Jessie and brother Reginald at Heckford Longfleet. He was born in Longfleet. In 1915 he married Hettie Louise England at St Mary"s, Longfleet. His occupation was "Telegraph Linesman". The Commonwealth War Graves Commission gives his widow"s address as H. L. Gilham, of Broadway, Merriott, Somerset. His brother Reginald also fell
