Victor Gillingham died in Poole aged 27 years. In 1911 he was in barracks with the Dorset Regiment in Farnborough. His birth place was Poole. Son of William Henry and Bessie Gillingham, of Grove Rd., Broadstone, Dorset. On the Broadstone War Memorial in the recreation ground, on the Memorial in St John"s Church Broadstone and on the Broadstone First School Memorial as William. British Army WWI Pensions: invalided out of the army, arm and thigh wounds. Silver war badge. 3016 Dorsets
