Alfred Gould died in Portsmouth aged 34 years. In 1901 he is on board ship at Portland one of many "boys at class" his place of birth is Wimborne. In 1911 he is on the Isle of Wight, occupation naval seaman, born Canford. The Commonwealth War Graves Commission states he was the "Son of Thomas and Emma Gould; husband of Fanny Gould of "Cimell" Pottery Road, Parkstone, Poole.
